Tentative Program - UPDATED
Maps
Maps, agenda, trolley, schedule, wireless instructions, etc will all be in your welcome package at the hotel.
Logistics
You will be flying into either the Indianapolis or Chicago airport. Both have shuttle service to Purdue University but the service from Indianapolis is more frequent and takes less time as the Indianapolis airport is closer to Purdue University (travel time is ~1 hour versus 2-2.5 for Chicago). Additionally, the shuttle from the Indianapolis airport will drop you at the door of your hotel while the suttle from Chicago requires and additional cab ride. Renting a car is also an option from either location and a full suite of rental agencies are available at both airports.

Please make your airplane reservations as soon as possible. We have limited funding and will announce those opportunities at a later time.
We have blocked out rooms in one hotel that is near campus. It is the (Holiday Inn Select) and is a 5 minute ride on a trolley from campus or about a 15 minute walk. To ensure the guaranteed rate ($95 for single king bed, $105 for two queens), please make your reservation prior to March 22, 2007. Just ask for the "Purdue Climate Change Research Center rate". Their toll-free number is: 1-800-423-1137.
There are two additional options that are closer to our meeting location but have have less availability (they wouldn't offer a "block" to us). They are the (Hilton Garden Inn) and the (Purdue Memorial Union Club hotel) (on campus). You can try either of these - rates aren't much different but the Memorial Union is on campus and hence, very convenient! Please try it first
NEWS FLASH! The Lafayette Limo does not drop off at the Holiday Inn (a change) but will drop off at the Union. So, if you are staying at the Holiday Inn, the Holiday Inn folks will shuttle you from the Union hotel to the Holiday Inn hotel (sorry about that - it is only 3 minute ride). Call them to arrange that (number above). Some of us will help with the shutttling as well if the Holiday Inn cannot meet the demand. More on this later.
Please join the TransCom listserve to keep up to date on Carbon Inversion happenings: (T3 listserve)
Another NEWS FLASH!! A wonderful reception has been planned for Tuesday night and a group dinner for Thursday night (with drinks and light hors d'ouvres at the Gurney-Rowe residence!)
